Pay My Bill

We want your life to be as easy as possible, so we offer a few different ways to pay your bill.

Online Payment:
Visit the OrbiPay® secure website*, for instructions on how to pay online.

Automatic Payments:
Call Customer Service toll free at 800-538-8833 or log into your Blue Access for Members (BAM) account to set up recurring electronic funds transfer (EFT).

  • To make this payment on BAM, be sure to register first

Personal check over the phone:
Call the OrbiPay* payment line at 844-642-9414. Have your member ID number, bank routing number and bank account number ready.

  • There is not a fee to pay by check.
  • There is no minimum required for check payments; however there is a $10,000 maximum that can be paid at one time.
  • Multiple bank accounts can be used to make one premium payment.
  • Up to five payments can be made from one account in a 30 day timeframe.
  • Payments will be reflected within 24 hours if payment is made before 4:00 CST (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • Recurring payments and future date payments cannot be set up using OrbiPay*.

In person:
Bring a copy of your invoice, which includes your member ID number and your "receive code," to any of the MoneyGram® locations near you (including most Walmart, ACE Cash Express and CVS stores) and pay with cash. MoneyGram locations in Walmart stores also take debit card payments.

  • Payments through MoneyGram are free.
  • These payments are posted to your account within 1-2 business days.

Credit or debit card: 
Call 866-654-8569 and follow the instructions. You can also log into your BAM account and click on the Billing & Payments section.

  • There is not a fee for using your debit or credit card.
  • The maximum premium payment that can be made on your debit or credit card is $2,500.  However,multiple payments can be made if necessary.
  • Up to 3 debit/credit card payments can be made with the same card within a 5 day period OR 5 payments can be made in a 30 day period.
  • Premium payments made with a debit or credit card will take 1-2 business days to post to your account.
  • Confirmation of debit or credit card payments can be emailed to you.
  • Recurring premium payments cannot be set up using a debit or credit card, but payment can be arrange for a future date.

Mail:
Mail a money order, personal check, or cashier's check along with your member ID number to the address on your invoice. Don't forget your payment coupon in the envelope.

  • Mail your premium payments at least five business days before the payment's due date to ensure it isn't late.

 * BCBSIL has contracted with a third-party vendor, Alacriti Payments, LLC, to process your ACH/electronic check payment. In order to process this payment, you will be redirected to Alacriti’s secure site, OrbiPay. If you have any problems with your payment, please contact BCBSIL customer service at 800-538-8833.
