Special Enrollment

If you missed open enrollment, you may be able to enroll during the special enrollment period. To be eligible, you must have had a qualifying "life event" within the past 60 days.

Examples of some qualifying events are:

A new Special Enrollment Period is taking place from February 15, 2021 to May 15, 2021. During this time, you can apply for a 2021 BCBSIL Individual health plan for yourself or your family without a qualifying event.
