hdhp vs ppo

Hi,

I have to pick between the BCBS PPO plan vs the high deductible plan. The core of these plans relies on the coinsurance that will be an out of pocket expense, Is there a place to find out typical costs for office visits etc under a BCBS plan?

Hi John. If you are already enrolled in a plan, you may have access to a Cost Estimator on Blue Access for Members**. If you do not already have a plan, I would recommend contacting your physician's billing department for cost estimates. - Renee

** Not all plans have the cost estimator available on Blue Access. If it is available, it will be located under the 'My Coverage' tab towards the lower left hand corner of the page.
