I did claims adjustment option because I didn't have an option to enter patients info. I entered incorrect claim #, it brought me back to menu and I asked for representative and was transferred!

How do you reach a live representative?! I have a question about a denial we received and I can't get through to anyone! I tried going through my provider home plan and when they said they would transfer me to a live representative I got sent back to the same automated system with no help at all. This is so frustrating.

Hi there,

My wife and is a member for BCBSIL PPO and I'm a member of BCBSM PPO. We're currently on a surrogacy journey, as we would like to have a biological child related to at least one of us.

Unfortunately, at this point, she's unable to produce her own eggs anymore (42M and 46F).

We were wondering if we have coverage, or reimbursement, for egg donation through her policy? We checked, and it looks like we may not have coverage for this through my policy, but we may through hers.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I are going through infertility treatment and have had two unsuccessful IUI. We are contemplating IVF which I was informed is covered 90%, but what is the coverage for egg donation if any. Also can we forego IVF and jump to egg donation if covered?

Hi there,

My wife is a member of BCBSIL PPO and I’m a member of BCBSM PPO. and We’re on a surrogacy journey. As she’s unable to produce eggs herself at this point 41M and 44F, we are now considering an egg donor.

Would my wife be able to get reimbursement through BCBSIL for this?
