Egg Donation coverage for BCBS PPO?

Hi there,

My wife and is a member for BCBSIL PPO and I'm a member of BCBSM PPO. We're currently on a surrogacy journey, as we would like to have a biological child related to at least one of us.

Unfortunately, at this point, she's unable to produce her own eggs anymore (42M and 46F).

We were wondering if we have coverage, or reimbursement, for egg donation through her policy? We checked, and it looks like we may not have coverage for this through my policy, but we may through hers.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m a provider in network with BCBSIL PPO. I am trying to join the BCBSIL Blue Choice network, as well. I used the Provider Onboarding form, but when I attempt to upload documents, everything stops. Can someone direct me to tech support? I’m using Chrome on an iPad. I reached out to Provider services and had no response.

I tried calling the insurance company, but because my company goes through HealthConnect360, they wouldn't talk to me. The member services I contact through HealthConnect360 do not get back to me. I thought the ACA law required the insurance companies to pay for these screenings without a deductible or copay! Why is this not covered?

When will you guys fix your website? "We currently can't access your claims data, Please try again later." for who even knows how long now.

CPAP Problems

I work for a doctors office. A patient was given an order for another CPAP as their machine has broken. They have not been able to contact BCBL for a replacement. I have attempted to contact as well to no avail. Please if anyone has any insight. I would hate to recommend a $1000 out of pocket cost when this patient has coverage. They are elderly and without a machine. Please help -Matt

Incorrect provider listings

My provider info is current on Availity, but the BCBSIL provider finder has me linked to an old group practice, not my private practice. I searched by my practice name and it came up, but without my name and with a completely wrong address. This is not a “demographic change;” it’s a serious error by BCBS. I sent 2 private messages and have not had a reply. This is also causing issues with my claims.

Hello,

I am a billing coordinator for a mid-sized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic.
Recently, a client of ours had their healthcare plan end unexpectedly. They are set to be enrolled in a new plan through BCBS beginning on 04/01.
The president of my company has requested that I use this forum to reach out regarding how we might pursue "Transitional Services."

She would like to know if it is possible to get any kind of coverage for the client during this month (03/24) as they transition to their new plan.
Any input would be appreciated.
